Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Live Haul Driver to safely transport live birds from company poultry farms to support production needs. Operate and maintain hauling equipment, follow delivery schedules, and uphold safety and biosecurity standards.

The role requires 12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience in the last 36 months, with a focus on safe operation and clear communication with farm staff and supervisors.

Qualifications

• 12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience within the previous 36 months.
• Drug or alcohol test positivity in the last 5 years makes the candidate ineligible.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Must be able to operate a manual CMV.

Responsibilities

• Operate live haul trucks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct equipment inspections following company guidelines and report issues to the Supervisor.
• Operate trucks to maintain product quality and integrity.
• Communicate effectively with associates, maintenance staff, growers, and supervisors.
• Maintain equipment and keep trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
• Pick up each flock as directed.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule and use required PPE.
• Foster a positive work environment through teamwork.
• Other duties as assigned.
