Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Live Haul Driver to transport live birds from poultry farms to support production needs. The role requires operating and maintaining hauling equipment, adhering to safety and biosecurity standards, and coordinating with live haul and farm teams to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, documenting deliveries, and effective communication with supervisors and maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• 12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience in the last 36 months.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to operate a manual CMV.
• Must follow safety, biosecurity and company policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate live haul trucks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct equipment inspections and report issues to the Supervisor.
• Maintain product quality and truck cleanliness.
• Communicate with associates, maintenance staff, growers and supervisors.
• Follow schedules and ensure accurate deliveries to support production.
• Foster teamwork and cooperate with live haul and farm staff.
• Complete tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Adhere to transportation regulations and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
