Gordon Food Service in Durham, NC is seeking a CDL-A Transit Driver with a doubles endorsement to join our night-shift team. You will transport loaded and empty trailers from distribution centers or point-to-point via night transit, with home daily, no touch freight, and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Class A CDL license required at hire.
• Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience.
• Doubles (T) endorsement required.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record per DOT standards.
• Registered with DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and transport trailers to distribution centers and customers.
• Operate night transit to maximize home time.
• Safely operate tractors and vans; perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Maintain equipment and report mechanical issues.
• Complete paperwork and logs accurately.
