Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver for Sunday through Thursday evenings in Memphis, TN. You will transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, securing loads, and accurate hours-of-service logs. Must hold a CDL A with endorsement, pass DOT health card, and lift 60–90 lb loads as required. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12 months commercial driving experience required.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card required or able to secure one.
• Ability to lift 60–90 pounds and operate lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Inspect and secure trailers and freight for transport.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to route schedule.
• Complete required paperwork and logs for hours of service.
• Unload and return damaged goods and handle returns as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe operation of equipment and yard.
