Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is hiring for a dedicated grocery delivery driver in the United States, with home weekly and a 34 hour reset. The role features a night shift, weekends, and a 6 day work week designed to keep you close to home.

Compensation includes training pay of $650 per week, plus mileage pay starting at $0.49 per mile (rising to $0.60 after 3 years), with average weekly pay between $1,100 and $1,300. Benefits are provided after 30 days.

Qualifications

• 21+ with valid Class A CDL and 120 hours CDL school minimum.
• No experience needed; 6 months in 12 or 12 months in 5 years for experienced drivers.
• DD214 considered.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years; nothing serious in 12 months.
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years; no DUI/DWI in 5–10 years.
• Hair and urine drug test; 3 years verifiable work history.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dedicated grocery freight with no touch loading.
• Drop and hook and live unload.
• Operate reefer and dry van trailers.

The Schedule

• Home weekly for a 34 hour reset
• Night shift, weekends included
• 6 day work week

The Pay

• $650 a week in training
• $0.49 per mile to start, rising to $0.60 at 3 years
• Average weekly pay $1,100 to $1,300
• $10 first extra stop, $15 each after
• Performance and safety bonus

The Freight

• Dedicated grocery delivery
• No touch, drop and hook and live unload
• Reefer and dry van trailers

Real Talk

• Training may be regional or OTR with the first available mentor
• Some waiting for loads to be ready
