Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Omaha is seeking night-shift drivers for a dedicated grocery fleet. This role features 100% no-touch freight, steady grocery loads, and weekly home time with a 34-hour reset.

You’ll drive reefers, with drop-and-hook and live unload options, and you’ll be part of a team that delivers consistent freight. The compensation includes weekly gross pay from $1,100 to $1,200, starting at $0.49 per mile increasing to $0.60 with years of service, plus stop-pay and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• Trainees welcome with 120+ hours of CDL training.
• 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• Military experience considered with a valid DD214.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years.
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing.

Pay

• $1,100 to $1,200 average weekly gross

• 1,600 to 1,800 miles per week

Know Before You Apply

• Night and weekend shifts, 6 day work week
• Some wait time at pickup is normal
• New CDL holders welcome: $650 weekly training pay, trainer may be regional or OTR during training

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL
• Trainees welcome, no prior experience needed: just a valid Class A CDL and 120+ hours of CDL training
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years
• Military experience considered with a valid DD214
• Valid license in your current state of residence and verifiable work history for the past 3 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years, no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years, no DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing
