Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Joplin, MO is seeking CDL-A drivers for dedicated grocery freight with 100% no touch. Average weekly gross ranges from $1,100 to $1,200, with mileage pay starting at $0.49/mile and rising to $0.60/mile after 3 years.

Earn stops pay and a safety bonus in a 6-day, night schedule, with home weekly for your reset. New CDL-A holders are welcome; training pay of $650 weekly during training is offered with an experienced trainer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• 120+ hours of CDL training or equivalent experience.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5–10 years; clean driving record as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate 100% no touch freight.
• Night and weekend shifts with a 6 day work week.
• Home weekly for reset and rest.

Job description

Joplin drivers who do their best work after dark: dedicated grocery freight, 100% no touch, and home every week for your reset.

Pay

• Average weekly gross: $1,100 to $1,200
• Mileage: $0.49 per mile to start, climbing to $0.60 per mile at 3 years
• Stops: $10 first stop, $15 every stop after
• Bonus: performance and safety bonus
• Miles: 1,600 to 1,800 per week

The Work

• You never unload, 100% no touch
• Dry and refrigerated grocery loads, drop and hook plus live unload
• Night and weekend shifts, 6 day work week
• Some wait time at pickup is normal

New CDL Holders

• New CDL-A holders are welcome to apply
• $650 weekly training pay with an experienced trainer
• Trainer may run regional or OTR during training
• Must have completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL
• Trainees welcome, no prior experience needed: just a valid Class A CDL and 120+ hours of CDL training
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years
• Military experience considered with a valid DD214
• Valid license in your current state of residence and verifiable work history for the past 3 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years, no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years, no DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing
