Job summary

Avenues Home Care of Tennessee is hiring a Night Shift Caregiver to assist elderly and vulnerable clients in the Northeast Tennessee area. Responsibilities include ADL support, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal prep and transportation assistance.

We value safety, confidentiality and compassionate care, with various shift options and opportunities for growth within a trusted home care team.

Qualifications

• Experience with ADLs and elderly care preferred.
• Good communication and ability to follow verbal/written assignments.
• Comfort with Homecare Company Management System—ClearCare recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs per plan of care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, eating, continence).
• Assist with medication reminders, housekeeping, laundry, meals, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Report daily activity to supervisor via management system and logs.
• Maintain client safety, confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; other duties as assigned.
