Job summary

Avenues Home Care of Tennessee is seeking a Night Shift Caregiver to support elderly and vulnerable clients in the Northeast Tennessee area, including Greeneville and surrounding towns.

Primary duties include assisting with ADLs, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation, while reporting activities to a supervisor through our management system. Requirements include strong communication, reliability, and a compassionate approach to care.

Qualifications

• Work requires good communication skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written assignments.
• Demonstrate proficiency with ClearCare system.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) per care plan.
• Assist with medication, housekeeping, meals, transportation and companionship.
• Report daily activity to supervisor and maintain logs.
• Follow the client’s plan of care and communicate changes as needed.
