The position requires a Class D Driver’s License and 1+ year of relevant experience or an associate degree in a human services field.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time or equivalent experience in direct support for developmental/intellectual or physical disabilities.
• Associate’s degree or higher in a human services field may substitute for the required experience.
• Incumbents must possess a current and valid Class D Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in meeting personal care and nutritional needs.
• Assist and support individuals in making life choices and upholding their rights.
• Provide leisure activities and transport to work, appointments, and recreational activities.
• Provide daily supervision and training to staff to ensure advocacy and respectful care.
• Oversee health and safety as shift supervisor, including medication administration.
• Coordinate with medical providers and accompany individuals to appointments as necessary.
