Job summary

Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, GA is hiring a Care Partner to support the nursing team with patient care and daily living activities. You will assist with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, and documentation, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role emphasizes compassionate patient experience, teamwork, and adherence to HIPAA and infection control policies. Evening/night shifts include 36 hours per week across 3/12 schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• BLS certification required or ability to obtain.
• Rising senior in good standing or High School Diploma/GED General-Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists with daily living activities and comfort measures under RN direction.
• Communicates with patients, families, and health care team to support patient experience.
• Performs clerical tasks such as data retrieval, supply maintenance, and transport of supplies and medications.
