Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Care Partner at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Georgia. This full-time Day shift (36 hours weekly, 3/12s) supports the nurse and healthcare team by assisting with daily living activities and comfort measures, promoting a positive patient experience.

Under RN direction, you will perform basic patient care tasks, monitor vital signs, assist with admissions, and help with care delivery.

Qualifications

• Rising Senior in Good Standing or High School Diploma/GED (preferred)
• All certifications required upon hire unless noted otherwise

Responsibilities

• Excellence in Patient Experience by partnering with health care team, patient and family.
• Protects rights and dignity of patient.
• Maintains confidentiality adhering to HIPAA regulations and privacy procedures.
• Participates in hourly patient rounding.
• Answers telephone and call lights promptly, with follow-up
• Resolves patient concerns or escalates to the charge nurse when needed
• Proactively offers assistance and comfort to patients and families
• Performs other duties to support patient care teams.
