Job summary

Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the night shift team. This full-time role (36 hours per week, 3/12s) focuses on delivering high-quality patient care within a collaborative care model and supports continuous improvement through shared governance.

The RN provides assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, documents changes, communicates with the care team and families, and mentors others while maintaining licensure

Qualifications

• Associates/Bachelor’s/Master’s in Nursing (preferred).
• BLS Instructor or BLS certification required on hire.
• RN license: single-state or compact license upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and care plans.
• Coordinate care with the patient care team and family; ensure safe, effective care.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and maintain professional licensure.
• Mentor and support junior staff; uphold confidentiality and professional standards.
