Job summary

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient comfort, and help maintain a safe, healing environment while documenting care in the EMR.

Advanced skills may be required based on unit needs. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced hospital

Responsibilities

• Excellence in patient experience by partnering with health care team, patient and family.
• Supports patient-centered care and collaborates on the plan of care.
• Participates in hourly patient rounding and responds to calls promptly.
• Maintains confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Transports supplies, medications and equipment as assigned.
