Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; monitor tech course and/or passing score 85% on competency exam.
• Basic computer skills and ability to multitask are essential.

Responsibilities

• On-going surveillance of patient cardiac monitors.
• Provide immediate notification to RNs/clinicians of rhythm changes.
• Review patient information to determine normal and current rhythm patterns; identify variances.
• Work cooperatively as part of a clinical team and uphold Mercy Service Standards.
