Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Monitoring Technician for a 24-hour-per-week night shift. The role involves continuous surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and immediate communication of rhythm changes to RNs and clinicians.

You will review patient information to identify normal and current rhythms and variances, working as part of a cohesive team. Strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to multi-task and make quick decisions under pressure are

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, G.E.D. and/or current Mercy coworker; Monitor tech course completion and/or passing score of 85% on monitor tech competency exam.
• Other: Basic computer skills. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is essential, excellent communication skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure is a must.
• Preferred Experience: Experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Preferred Certifications: CRAT certification preferred.
