Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Monitor Technician for the night shift at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.

The role involves ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and providing immediate notifications of rhythm changes to clinical staff. Successful candidates will work closely with nurses to ensure patient safety and will receive comprehensive training and benefits including health coverage and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and quick decision-making under pressure.
• Completion of a monitor tech course or passing score (85%) on our competency exam.
• CRAT certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and alert clinical staff to changes.
• Review patient data to identify patterns and variances.
• Work closely with nurses and care teams to ensure patient safety.
• Be a calm, focused presence during overnight hours.
