Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a Monitor Technician for the night shift. You will surveil patient cardiac monitors, notify RNs of rhythm changes, and assist care teams to maintain patient safety during overnight hours.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a monitor tech course or passing score on a competency exam, and CRAT certification within 1 year. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Complete monitor tech course or pass exam with 85%.
• CRAT certification within 1 year of hire.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking and quick decisions under pressure.
• Healthcare experience is a plus, but training is provided.

Responsabilités

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and alert staff to changes.
• Review patient data to identify patterns and variances.
• Collaborate with nurses and care teams to ensure patient safety.
• Be calm and focused during overnight hours.
