Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Two years of military, law enforcement, or security experience; or an equivalent combination.
Three years of Level II security work or higher.
Must possess a Florida Class D security license or be willing to obtain.
Tobacco/smoke-free campus policy is in effect.

Responsibilities

Patrol and monitor the assigned area on foot or by vehicle and report unusual activity.
Assist with traffic directions and parking for events.
Provide university information to staff, faculty, and visitors.
Escort community members to buildings and parking lots as needed.
Maintain lost and found and check for safety hazards.
Monitor fire and security alarms and respond as needed.
Prepare reports and coordinate with local fire/police departments.
