Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to work nights
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and extended periods
• Knowledge of cooking principles
• At least 1 year cooking experience in varied entrees/methods (restaurant, Publix cafeteria, or culinary school)
• Food Safety Professionals certification or equivalent within 90 days of start
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to read, write, and solve math problems
• Complete Basic Office Skills Test before start date
• Able to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
• Able to stand for long periods
• Able to bend, bend, stoop, and twist
• Teamwork and enthusiasm for Publix’s mission
