Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain, and repair building system operations across plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling. The role sits within Engineering and Technical Services and focuses on preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure facilities run efficiently.

Shift is M-F 6:30p-6:30a at designated properties. You will support energy management, compliance with codes, and safety protocols, while mentoring teammates and applying CBRE RISE values to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4–5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to exercise judgment based on multiple information sources.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and control systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Maintain energy management programs to optimize efficiency.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs as needed.
• Adhere to safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
