Job summary

JLL is seeking an Operating/Building Engineer for the 2nd shift in San Antonio, TX. You will operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair building systems across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire and life safety to keep facilities running safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in commercial buildings, familiarity with CMMS (Corrigo), and strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
• Ability to analyze MEP and HVAC systems and take corrective action.
• Working knowledge of CMMS (Corrigo).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Physical ability to access equipment for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Record readings and adjust parameters to ensure proper operation and identify issues.
• Monitor quality and pricing of maintenance work by outside contractors.
• Manage facility services, purchasing and inventory control.
• Check tool and instrument inventory for readiness.
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems across the facility.
• Maintain plumbing fixtures and drain equipment and resolve blockages.
