Job summary

BioBridge Global is seeking a Building Technician IV in San Antonio for the 2nd shift (afternoons & evenings) to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on buildings, industrial systems, and grounds. You will work with HVAC systems including RTUs, chillers, VAVs, and associated controls under limited supervision, ensuring reliability and occupant comfort.

The role requires HVAC certification and a high school diploma or GED, plus 5+ years of HVAC/electrical repair experience.

Qualifications

• Requires five or more years HVAC and/or electrical repair and maintenance experience.
• HVAC Certifications Class A, B or C and relevant licenses/ Certifications.
• Proficient with CMMS and reading blueprints.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and with teams; on‑call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitors building system operations, performs preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Inspects HVAC, electrical and plumbing to ensure proper operation and compliance.
• Oversees apprentices and guides HVAC technicians on jobs.
• Estimates time and materials; orders supplies as needed.
• Coordinates with vendors and contractors; identifies opportunities for energy savings.
