Job summary

Saputo, Inc. is hiring for a production associate in Minnesota. You will fill box formers, select correct boxes, verify codes, and perform change-overs for different products. Forklift duties, downtime reporting, and safety compliance are essential parts of the role.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior manufacturing experience is a plus. Knowledge of GMP and safety rules is beneficial for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to count and tally production information.
• Ability to deal with problems in a standardized fashion.
• Knowledge of GMP, safety rules, and chemical right to know is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fill box formers to ensure continuous production.
• Select correct boxes for product being run.
• Verify box codes for accuracy.
• Conduct change-overs when switching products.
• Troubleshoot box jams or gluer issues.
• Operate forklift to move pallets for production.
• Report downtime and production issues to supervisor.
• Submit maintenance requests for equipment issues.
• Follow safety rules and GMP/HACCP requirements.
• Complete paperwork and maintain clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
