Penguin Random House operates a state-of-the-art distribution center in Westminster, Maryland and is seeking dedicated workers to pick, pack, and ship approximately 1.2 million books daily to customers worldwide. This full-time role offers a path into a large publishing network with opportunities across editorial, design, marketing and logistics.

Compensation is up to $17.20 per hour, with medical benefits, a 401(k) plan, and generous paid time off starting on day one.

Formación

• Basic reading and math skills are required.
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop and lift up to 35 pounds regularly (55 pounds occasionally).
• Must stand for an entire shift and be comfortable climbing stairs to an upper mezzanine.

Responsabilidades

• Pick and pack customer book orders using a variety of methods including voice automation.
• Must follow safety and quality procedures.
• Maintain accuracy to meet daily shipping targets.
