Job summary

OneBlood is seeking a distribution associate to support the management of whole blood and blood components. The role requires overnight hours (10:00 PM–6:30 AM, Wed–Sun) with training 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Mon–Fri for 2–3 weeks and possible weekend differentials.

Responsibilities include labeling, data entry, storage, shipping, inventory, and customer service. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required; a driver’s license may be needed.

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient computer skills required.
• Driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures suitability and accurate labeling of products for release and distribution.
• Performs data entry for component production, labeling, storage and shipping with complete manufacturing records.
• Manufactures, stores and distributes blood and blood products.
• Operates, maintains and performs quality control checks on equipment.
• Quarantines and dispositions unacceptable products and performs quality control checks.
• Maintains adequate inventory of required supplies.
• Provides customer service to internal and external customers and vendors.
• May operate a OneBlood courier vehicle when applicable.
