Job summary

OneBlood in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated technician to support manufacturing and distribution of whole blood and components, following SOPs. You will work four 10-hour night shifts (6:00pm–7:00am) with training 8:00am–8:00pm for 3–4 weeks, and may receive shift differential of $1.50–$4.50 per hour.

This full-time role requires basic computer skills and careful recordkeeping. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior laboratory, bloodbank manufacturing or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures, stores and distributes blood and blood products.
• Performs data entry for component production, labeling, storage and shipping.
• Operates and maintains equipment; performs quality control checks.
• Ensures correct labeling and release of products.
• Manages quarantine and disposition of unacceptable products.
• Maintains inventory of supplies.
• Prepares quality control samples for testing.
