Job summary

The Blood Connection, Incorporated is seeking a dedicated individual to support hospital blood product distribution and customer service. You will coordinate routes, assist in inventory, and ensure timely delivery of orders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Driver’s License with no major infractions and dependable transportation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and peers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all orders are filled and delivered in a timely manner.
• Coordinate routes and pickups to ensure timely processing and delivery.
• Perform shipping and receiving of blood components.
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation of blood components.
• Provide support to hospital blood banks served by The Blood Connection.
• Handle modifications of blood products as required (irradiation, washing, etc.).
• Collaborate with couriers for efficient routing.
• Contribute to fulfilling The Blood Connection’s mission.
