Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking an Operator Blending and Loading - Nights for the Fallon NV facility. You will mentor others and handle inbound bulk shipments by rail and truck, including sampling and loading operations.

The role requires HS Diploma or GED, forklift and railcar handling experience, and the ability to work nights, with physical stamina for long shifts and heights up to 14 ft. Competitive benefits available after hire.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years loading/unloading rail or truck preferred.
• Knowledge of loading/unloading railcars and tankers preferred.
• Forklift experience
• Track Mobile experience preferred.
• Work well in a team environment.
• DOT or RCRA training an asset!
• Ability to work in hot and cold weather conditions.
• Comfortable working at height of up to 14ft
• Basic computer knowledge
• Must be able to stand for long periods, stoop, climb and lift up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
• Review paperwork to ensure compliance with company, governmental rules and regulations
• Sample all inbound rail cars, trucks and trailers
• Prepare the sample and submit for lab analysis
• Prepares paperwork receipts for filing and processing
• Unload rail cars, trucks and trailers into the used oil receiving tanks
• General housekeeping of the facility
• Other duties as required
