Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a motivated Operator of Blending/Loading II to join the Sanford, NC team. The role includes loading and shipping finished products by truck and rail, blending lube oils, inspecting containers, and preparing bulk shipping paperwork to meet domestic and international requirements while following railroad and DOT regulations.

Compensation is $19-22 per hour DOE. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and on-the-job training with benefits in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of railcar, tanker loading, blending, or filling preferred.
• 1 to 3 years' experience in a production driven environment.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Computer skills, attention to detail, ability to count and read, time management.
• Must be able to communicate and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safety is the number one priority at all times and follows all Health & Safety procedures.
• Inspects shipping containers and tankers for suitability to load finished products.
• Inspects railcars and tankers to meet Railroad and D.O.T. requirements.
• Reviews shipping paperwork for product to be loaded.
• Prepares paperwork for shipment, filing and processing.
• Calculates gallons and other calculations as needed.
• Loads requested products into trailers and railcars as indicated on paperwork.
• Transfers additives between containers and locations as needed.
• Transfers loads from one location to another a short distance away.
• Prepares samples for lab approval prior to transfer and/or shipment to customers.
