Sheridan Ohio is seeking an Assistant Manufacturing Technician-Bindery for the night shift (7pm–7am). We’ll train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment, learn setup, run, and monitor production on a fast-paced, hands-on floor in Canton, Ohio.

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you. This full-time role offers overtime, shift differential, and comprehensive benefits after 30 days, plus a chance to grow into skilled equipment operation with a stable career at Sheridan.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• Mechanically inclined with comfort using basic tools.
• Ability to read simple job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes).
• Pride in delivering quality work and reliability in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, perfect binders).
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
