Job summary

Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Health Technician for the Women’s Recovery House 3rd shift in Ohio. You will monitor residents, ensure safety, and complete required documentation including logs, incident reports, and drug screening records.

The role involves night and weekend work, transporting residents to meetings, providing access to medications, and coordinating with staff. Equal opportunity employer with benefits.

Qualifications

• Understanding of co-occurring AoD and MH disorders and recovery.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Understanding of RSNWO and HIPAA confidentiality law, policy and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document changes, incidents, and rule violations during shift.
• Transport residents to and from meetings/events (AA/NA, NAMI).
• Provide residents access to their medications and document self-administration.
• Conduct resident meetings to discuss conflicts, rules, and recovery plans.
• Develop and monitor recreational activities as assigned.
• De-escalate aggressive or harmful behavior.
• Monitor buildings, grounds, and vehicles; conduct safety drills.
