Qualifications

• Demonstrated empathy toward individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorder.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with patients and families.
• Knowledge of AA or 12-step principles is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required for patient transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and supervision for individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorder.
• Drive company vehicles to facilitate patient transportation when necessary.
• Document patient care using electronic medical records.
• Facilitate patient activities to boost engagement and positive behavioral change.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and physicians to ensure comprehensive care.
• Assist with facility room checks and patient family visits for a safe environment.
• Discuss the twelve steps with patients as appropriate.
