Job summary

The Farley Center in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Behavioral Health Associate I for the overnight shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) with rotating weekends.

The role supports a multidisciplinary team, monitors client behaviors, and provides continuous care and crisis response in a facility setting. Required is a high school diploma or equivalent with six months’ experience with the population served; CPR and de-escalation training are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months or more experience with the facility’s population preferred.
• Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, structured environment and supervise clients.
• Conduct safety checks and monitor for contraband.
• Record vital signs and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Facilitate educational-rehabilitative groups and activities.
• Prepare and maintain client records and incident reports.
• Coordinate transportation as needed and transfer clients when required.
