Job summary

The Farley Center in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech for the night shift (11pm-7:30am) on a full-time, onsite basis. You will monitor and support clients, document observations, and respond to crises as part of the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Six months or more experience working with the specific population.
• CPR certification and de-escalation training required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the wellbeing of clients and maintains a safe, supportive environment.
• Performs safety checks and documents observations for supervisors.
• Interacts with clients, promotes participation in groups, and records vitals.
• De-escalates crises and assists with incident reporting and transport as needed.
• Charts timely in client records and assists with shift handoffs.
• Supports activities planning and introduces clients to programs.
