Center for Discovery is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech to support patients through admission to discharge at our Montverde, FL program. The role emphasizes safety, patient interventions, group facilitation, and collaboration with clinical teams.

The Part-time overnight shift (Sat and Sun, 11pm–8am) requires empathy, reliability, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. A driver’s license and CPI/CPR certifications are required or pursued within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Two or more years experience in mental health, substance use, or eating disorders.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma accepted with experience.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver’s License required.
• Must obtain CPI certification within 90 days of hire; CPR/AED/First Aid and Food Handling certifications within 30 days.

Responsabilités

• Assist nursing staff with duties as directed, including vitals and patient supervision.
• Maintain patient safety and document shift notes and group notes.
• Facilitate daily groups as directed by facility leadership.
• Support during admission and discharge processes, including patient belongings and orientation.

Connaissances

Two+ years MH/SUD/ED experience

Valid driver’s license

Formation

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
