Job summary

Center For Discovery in Southport, CT is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech to support patients through the treatment experience, from admission through discharge. This full-time, on-site role runs overnight from 11pm-7am, Tuesday through Saturday, at our Southport location.

The position emphasizes assisting with patient daily needs, participating in meal supervision for eating disorder treatment, supporting clinical teams, and maintaining safety, confidentiality, and documentation across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• One or more years experience in mental health, substance use or eating disorder field preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted State Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient safety, supervision, and daily routines as part of treatment.
• Support nursing staff with duties such as patient supervision and vitals.
• Document shift notes, group notes, and required records by end of shift.
• Facilitate and lead daily groups as directed by facility leadership.
• Provide transportation services for patients as needed and pre-qualified to drive a company vehicle.
• Adhere to all policies, protect patient confidentiality, and maintain professional boundaries.
