Banner Del Webb Medical Center is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist for the night shift. The role focuses on safety checks, assisting with ADLs, milieu management, falls prevention, and 1 on 1 observations for psychiatric patients.

Previous nursing assistant or behavioral health tech experience is preferred. The position is part-time (2, 12's per week) with night hours 7:00pm-7:30am and may involve floating to ED or medical units as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field or equivalent with 1 year direct patient care in inpatient behavioral health setting.
• Experience in inpatient psychiatric facilities and in activities of daily living; de-escalation techniques.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Aufgaben

• Provide basic nursing care including monitoring vital signs and assisting with ADLs.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and observe patient status; report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist in admission, discharge and transfer processes and document in the patient medical record.
