Job summary

Beckett Springs is seeking an Assessment Specialist for a full-time night shift (7pm-7am, 3 days/week). The RN-licensed candidate will perform initial evaluations, determine level of care, and coordinate admissions with attention to patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• RN license in OH is required.
• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Prior experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment skills required.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates response to service requests, initial assessment and referral, and determines level of care.
• Conducts initial evaluation, documents symptoms and needs, and informs physician for LOC determination.
• Provides excellent customer service to patients, physicians, visitors, and coworkers.
• Maintains preadmission/admission paperwork and completes pre-certification with insurance.
