Job summary

Banner Del Webb Medical Center in Sun City West, AZ seeks a Behavioral Health Specialist for part-time night shifts. You will support psychiatric patients, perform safety checks, assist with ADLs, and document care under RN direction.

Night shifts offer weekend/holiday rotation and a $1/hour weekend differential. Ideal candidates have a behavioral health background, with either a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in inpatient settings, and a strong commitment to patient dignity and care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral health or related field (or HS diploma with 1 year inpatient behavioral health care).
• Experience in acute inpatient behavioral health settings is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-touch environment with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to psychiatric patients under RN supervision.
• Perform safety checks, ADL assistance and milieu management.
• Monitor and document patient status, reports changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with admission, discharge and transfer processes per protocol.
• Respond to crisis or behavioral incidents using de-escalation techniques.
