Job summary

St. Joseph Medical Center is seeking staff to provide routine service duties and nursing procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort in a behavioral health setting. Under supervision, you will work with the Clinical Nurse to follow established procedures.

The role requires at least two years of mental health patient experience and American Heart Association BLS certification, with a full-time night shift (6:30p-7a) and possible weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral medicine settings preferred.
• Excellent communication in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine service duties, technical and nursing procedures to ensure patient care, comfort and safety.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect PHI.
• Conduct environmental rounds and maintain orderly patient rooms.
