Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift (11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.). This 0.4–0.8 FTE role requires current Ohio RN licensure and a BSN or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within five years.

Base pay starts at $36.90/hour plus applicable shift differentials. The RN will provide family-centered nursing care, assess patient needs, collaborate with LPNs, PCAs, and the care team, and document per policy, while upholding quality and safety

Qualifications

• BSN or Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must be willing to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other necessary certification as determined by your manager based on business unit.

Responsibilities

• Assesses individualized patient needs and communicates care needs to the care team.
• Plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
