Job summary

St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for behavioral health units on the 3rd shift (11pm–7:30am). You will provide direct patient care in accordance with facility policies and participate in treatment planning with the multidisciplinary team.

This role requires an ASN with RN license in CT; BSN preferred, and BLS certification. Hartford HealthCare offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

ASN required; BSN preferred.
CT RN license required prior to hire or transfer date.
BLS Provider credential within 60 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients.
Perform initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments.
Participate in treatment team conferences to plan goals and interventions.
Lead or co-lead group therapy sessions for patients.
Evaluate patient responses and revise care plans as needed.
Delegate tasks to nursing staff to maximize patient care.
Adhere to ANA Standards of Nursing Practice and Ethics.
