Job summary

St. Vincent's Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 11pm-7:30am third shift focused on behavioral health care. The role includes direct patient care, psychosocial assessments, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Licensed RN credentialed from CT DPH.
• BLS required within 60 days of hire date.
• MOAB training beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to behavioral health patients.
• Performs initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments.
• Participates in treatment team conferences to plan goals and interventions.
• Implements nursing plan of care and leads group therapy sessions.
• Evaluates patient responses and revises plans as needed.
• Delegates care to nursing personnel to maximize staff performance.
• Adheres to ANA standards of nursing practice and ethics.
• Reflects professional standards in ongoing care.
