Job summary

St. Vincent's Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care for behavioral health patients during the 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift, every other weekend and some holidays.

You will perform bio-psychosocial assessments, develop and implement care plans, and participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning. The role requires an ASN with CT RN licensure (BSN preferred) and BLS certification, with MOAB training or willingness to complete.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Connecticut RN license before hire date.
• BLS certification obtained within 60 days of hire.
• MOAB training experience or willingness to complete training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients per policy.
• Perform initial and ongoing bio-psychosocial assessments and develop a nursing plan of care.
• Participate in treatment team conferences to set goals and interventions.
• Lead or co-lead group therapy sessions and implement nursing care plans.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise care plans as status changes.
• Delegate care to nursing staff to maximize patient outcomes.
