RWJBarnabas Health at Monmouth Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Care Technician for the Medical-Surgical Unit-II. This hourly role supports RNs with hands-on patient care, including vital signs, mobility, and personal care, while ensuring a safe and compassionate environment.

You will document care in the electronic health records, follow infection control protocols, and communicate with patients and families to coordinate plans. Need a high school diploma and BLS; CNA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Nursing assistant experience or CNA certification preferred or relevant clinical experience from an accredited nursing program.

Responsabilités

• Assist with vital signs, mobility, and personal care as part of the nursing team.
• Monitor vital signs and track patient health status.
• Document patient information accurately in EHR systems.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure safety for patients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans.
• Support emergency response with BLS skills when needed.
• Provide patient care appropriate to the age and clinical criteria.
• Collaborate with the care team from admission to discharge for safe transitions.
