Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC in Alsip, IL is seeking an Operator 3, Bakery Mixer for the 3rd shift to support production operations. You will weigh, measure, and stage ingredients, maintain recipe accuracy, and document production and quality data to ensure compliance with food safety standards.

This role requires at least a high school diploma or GED and the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of related manufacturing, production, warehouse, or food processing experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to follow recipes, work instructions, SOPs, and documentation requirements.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh, measure, and stage ingredients according to recipe specifications and production schedules.
• Verify and document ingredient lot codes and lot code changes to maintain traceability and compliance.
• Inspect ingredients prior to use to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow GMPs, HACCP, allergen control, food defense, and food safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and legible production and quality documentation.
• Support equipment reliability and operational efficiency by reporting concerns and using equipment properly.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while complying with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
