Aspire Bakeries, located in Alsip, IL, is seeking a Machine Operator to join our team on the 3rd shift. You will ensure finished products meet quality and food safety standards while supporting efficient packaging operations.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to stand for long periods, and the capability to lift up to 50 pounds. We follow GMP, HACCP, and allergen controls; you will maintain documentation and assist with packaging rework to minimize waste.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• One year of related manufacturing, packaging, production, or warehouse experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, or climb for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; follow safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and ensure finished goods meet company specifications before packaging.
• Inspect packaging operations and identify product or equipment issues requiring corrective action.
• Remove non-conforming products from production lines to maintain quality standards.
• Support efficient packaging processes by monitoring equipment performance and reporting operational concerns.
• Assist with packaging rework activities to minimize waste and maximize product recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and waste tracking in accordance with company procedures.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, allergen control, food defense, safety, and quality requirements to ensure regulatory compliance.
