Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Bakery Maintenance Technician in Chaska, MN. This role focuses on keeping bakery equipment running through preventive and corrective maintenance, with duties including troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.

You will use SAP for work orders and coordinate with planners to ensure parts availability. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and technical maintenance training, with at least one year of industrial maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of industrial or plant maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and manuals.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Familiarity with GMPs is a plus.
• Experience with SAP or CMMS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize production downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues on bakery production equipment.
• Complete equipment repairs, overhauls, and new equipment installations.
• Execute scheduled maintenance work orders and document completed work in SAP.
• Generate parts requests and follow MRO procedures to maintain inventory levels.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify potential failures before they impact production.
• Support production lines by responding to maintenance calls and resolving equipment issues.
• Coordinate with maintenance planners and parts personnel to ensure materials are available for scheduled work.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, labor tracking, and work order documentation.
• Follow all safety standards, GMP requirements, and company procedures while supporting continuous manufacturing operations.
