Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking an Avionics/Electrical Technician I for the Savannah production site on the night shift. You will install and test electrical/avionics systems on aircraft and support troubleshooting to minimize schedule impact.

Under supervision, read blueprints and schematics, perform functional tests, and document work for inspection. A HS diploma plus 2 years aviation electronics experience is preferred; military avionics experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED with 2 years related avionics/electronics experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Experience supporting aircraft production.
• Military avionics maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates basic technical skills in avionics and aircraft systems testing.
• Under supervision, installs and tests electrical/avionics components per specs.
• Troubleshoots to ensure timely, quality repairs.
• Repairs or replaces defective components and wiring to meet conformity.
• Operates test equipment and conducts functional tests.
• Documents work for inspection.
• Adheres to FOD, tool control, 5-S and safety rules.
• May participate in flight tests during aircraft certification.
